After travelling significant distances today, our weary pilgrims joined together for the first time in Amman Airport and we travelled by bus through the desert landscape to Petra. Fantastic views, food and service at the Petra Marriott. We celebrated Mass, and had our first dinner together to the stunning backdrop view of the setting sun over the mountains.
Time for some rest for our weary souls ...Night Prayer: Save us, Lord while we are awake; protect us while we sleep; that we may keep watch with Christ and rest with him in peace. Amen.
