The highlights for me were the Church of the Annunciation - seeing the humble house where it all took place, the daily exposure to incredible sacred art and architecture, and learning about the culture and traditions in Jesus' day (which inturn helped me to better understand the Scriptures) Lastly...getting to ride a camel and a donkey in the same day!!
The Edicule - Church of the Holy Sepulchre
First glimpse of the Abbey of the Dormition - Jerusalem

Tony and i have been reflecting on the three most memorable moments of our pilgrimage. It is almost impossible to pick out only 3 moments but for Tony our first day at Petra was very amazing. Celebrating mass in the Byzantine church and reflecting on its history.
Each mass was the highlight of the day but for me the mass on the banks of the River Jordan bought home the fact that Jesus had actually walked on this ground and began his mission here. It was quite an emotional moment.
Jean reading at Mass on Bethany beyond the Jordan:
The other thing that we both agree is that the group had a very special bond. We came together for most of us as complete strangers and yet we soon formed a bond and friendships that i hope will last a lifetime. Our common bond is The Lord and our Catholic faith and hopefully Jesus will help us all to grow closer to His Father to Him and the Holy Spirit by the memories we share.
